Hi! I recently adopted a cat who is 4 years old (in case that matters) she’s really loving most times and spends most of the day within reach of me. However, at night she will sit on the top of the sofa behind either my mom or I and attack our heads. She mostly eats my hair but while doing that she uses her claws to grab on to my head and bites my head. I have tried staying still which I was told would help her lose interest and she would move on but that doesn’t help at all and just makes me a target for the sharp claws catching me ;) . She has also recently started biting my mom or I when our hands or feet are moving under blankets we employ the not moving until she loses interest tactic, which does work, but I’m really worried this will never stop. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any suggestions? I really don’t want to get to the point that I flinch around her or don’t want to be around her. Also, I do play with her with her toys or a red light or other toys so it’s not like she is ignored throughout the day. Thanks for reading!
