I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed, but a few months ago I moved into my girlfriends house with 4 cats and 4 dogs. All of her animals have always been timid and shy with new people, but within a few days they all grew close to me and have separation anxiety whenever we leave for work/school or something. Most of them are rescues , stemming from a previously abusive situation, so they’re not ones to warm up to strangers fast. But we’ve noticed that the dogs wanna sleep WITH me, the cats too, the dogs dance with me, the cats paw at the door of the room were in until we let them in, follow us around the house. My real question here is can they sense the love in my relationship? Are they picking up the love my girlfriend feels for me and portraying it aswell? I’ve always been good with animals, and we have a joke theory they love us so much cause we’re both autistic. But we’re really confused!
