Today I came back from work and noticed one of my two pet doves was hiding underneath the water pot from the front. When I opened up the cage I tapped him lightly, he was dead. I have no idea how it happened, I refilled the food pot and refilled the water pot with fresh water so he couldn't of starved. When I picked him up, his torso had some yellow stains. I buried him in the garden.
I feel awful about this, this was my fault. I should of paid more attention on his behaviour. The other dove is fine at the moment, nothing looks physically wrong with her. I made sure she's well fed and I will clean out her cage later this week.
