I’ve brought my new puppy to the vet twice now. she’s been itching and biting profusely. she gets random scabs that I’m sure she isn’t getting from the biting. The vet treated her with advantage multi because they thought she had scabies. the biting and itching stopped for about 3 weeks but now it’s just as bad as it was before. she’s got patches of hair missing now, so the vet is giving her anti fungal and anti microbial shampoo and lotion. They scraped her skin and sent a sample off to the lab but I haven’t heard back yet. What can I do? I’m going to get a second opinion in a few weeks, but I’m not too confident.
