I have had 3 pets die this year. What environmental factors should be considered?

I moved into my house last March. I had two 20 year old cats and two 4 year old dogs. Both cats had to be put down in January within a day of each other and my dog passed away in September.

The first cat went into kidney failure. The second cat had some kind of stroke/seizures and the vet didn't even run tests and just recommended euthanasia given his age and condition. (he was like a vegitable)

They were both very old. So, while it was weird that they died a day apart, we and the vet chalked it up to coincidence.

Then in June, my now 5 year old 60 lb dog started getting bloody noses. It was a long three months, but in September he passed away without euthanasia. He began showing multiple other symptoms including lack of appetite, fluid in his belly, and kidney disease.

I do have another dog that is now 5 years old and seems to be doing fine. I'm just a little paranoid that he could be next.

Is it possible that this is just a coincidence? Should I be investing external and environmental factors? What should I be looking for?
