We have a 9 year old golden doodle 50 lbs, placed into friend's house for a night. they have a tiny chihuahua, a 50 lb husky and several pre-teen kids. the next day we pick her up, she has these linear marks over her body (upper back, right frontal forearm, right upper thigh).
in these areas they are all single linear marks, slightly raised. we assume it's itchy or painful b/c she is licking the injury over the right forearm. the friends who had looked after her said they weren't aware of the injuries.
the vet can't tell what it's from
seems kind of atypical for a scratch, and it's only a single mark in all these areas (would expect at least several lines if they were paw scratches).
