i noticed a small bald spot on my cats neck a few days ago but didn’t think much of it until my mum pointed it out to me today, and i realised it has gotten larger. it’s on his neck a little far off his ear and had fresh dried blood in the middle so i’m assuming there’s a cut. it looks like someone has pulled a chunk of his hair out since it’s to the skin.
he’s an outdoor cat (bengal) but hasn’t been going out so much these past few days. for most of it he’s been in my room sleeping on my bed which doesn’t happen too often. he’s not a clingy cat. i’ve seen 2 small chunks of hair on my blanket and he keeps on flicking his right ear which is the one above his bald spot. he’s also seems a little shook and out of it but it could be me overanalysing since i’m worried.
we’re going to take him to the vet on monday since it’s closed tomorrow and have decided not to let me outside tomorrow which i don’t think will be a big problem since when he goes out he comes back in pretty quick.
he also hasn’t been eating the meat from his cat food and only licking the sauce for the past, 2+ weeks?? he’s had a bit of boiled chicken and fish though, don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
