Travelling with a new cat, will I mess up the cat introduction? Help

I got a new cat a little over two weeks ago. The adjustment for my old cat has been slow going but she is coming around. They still have not met face to face (I'm using the Jackson Galaxy method where they eat on either side of a closed door and old cat is getting closer but still hissing sometimes).

This week, I am driving to my sisters house for a few days. Normally, I have a friend who comes to feed my cat and hang out with her for a while each day. However, currently I have a whole routine of feeding on either side of the door at night and then letting the new can out into the main room while putting the old cat away for a few hours after dinner (to swap spaces).

This whole thing seems like a lot to ask of / explain to a cat sitter. I was considering bringing one of the cats with me to my sisters (I've brought my old cat there before) and leaving the other. However, I'm worried it would mess up my whole introduction process and I'd be starting back from square one.

What should I do?
