Cat is very gassy, I think it's allergies to her food, need advice for figuring out how to find "safe" foods for her.

My cat, Cadence, is about 9ish years old (my fiancee got her in the summer of 2012) and I love her dearly, but.

She keeps farting and having little diarrhea poops. Like, audibly farts.

We took her to the vets because the little, tiny baby poops that would come with these farts had taken an alarming shade of green, but the x-ray just showed that she's full of farts. This was pre-covid, and nonlethal, so we haven't been back to really discuss why our cat is pooping everywhere.

My fiancee believes the cat has an allergy to something in the cat food, after reading some comments here, but isn't sure how to narrow down what's setting off her food allergy. Or what to look for when narrowing it down.

We're in a multi-cat household, so it's annoying to get her alone to eat, but I want to know what's making her so farty. Any advice would be great, thank you!
