I just got a mud scorpion turtle over 2 weeks ago and the tank is already really dirty. Rocks became dark green. I feed my turtle 4 turtle ball shaped pellets. The last turtle I had was a red ear slider turtle and she was about 6 inches. I fed her more turtle pellets than I do with this one but the tank became dirty less quickly (I sold her because she was big for my tank). With my last turtle the rock wasn’t coated in green stuff, now it is. Why and how is my mud scorpion turtle soiling the tank so fast?
