We have a cat that's two years old. We keep the litter box in the kitchen, in the same spot as his food. We've had him for a few months, and we've had no problems until recently. Our routine is that I feed him, and then I clean his litter box for the day. He usually goes right after gets fed. Today, within an hour after I fed him, he made several attempts to go to the bathroom, once as I was cleaning it, but nothing came out. I counted 8 times in a row, where he's tried. He still hasn't gone yet today.
He ate all his food, he played with his toys a little bit, and doesn't seem (?) to be in any pain
