For the past few days, my cat has been meowing a lot, which is not normal for her. The meowing also sounds different. Closer to when she's anxious about getting taken to the vet, or about to cough up a hairball. She normally doesn't meow unless she wants food, in or out of a room, or if she thinks she's alone in the house and trying to find one of us.
I haven't noticed any uncharacteristic behavior outside of the meowing. Nothing big has changed in the house as far as i can tell. She has not quite been eating all of her food for the past few days, but this also is pretty normal for her. She's spoiled, i know. She doesn't seem week or emotionally needy.
Is this any cause for concern? Do any of you have any idea of what might be the cause for this recent behavioral dissonance? Thank you in advance for your help.
