Whenever I'm outside and do something that my dog can't seem to reach (do pull-ups on a bar, or stand on top of a trash can, or I juked him and he's on the opposite side of a golf flag pole, something like that) he barks at me. I then chase him to tell him to stop and then I try to put him in his cage but he runs (and boy is he fast). He's a basset hound and I heard they were very stubborn. The thing is, he doesn't bark at anything else. He never barks at other people or passerbys. He is fascinated and cries to see them. What can I do about his behavior? I don't want him barking outside, especially at night. I don't want to put him in his cage either because I want him to be out so he can go potty and other things like that. Also I'm in a household of 5 (and 1 one of them comes out every week or so from their room) and I spend the most time with our dog because my family members are either out at work or too lazy to take care of our dog.
