I just found a kitten by itself, I don't see the mom cat anywhere and it's going to start to rain soon. I moved it under the patio and into a soft cat bed. I plan on waiting for mom to come and take the kitten away but if it's still here by tomorrow I'm calling a pet rescue. It looks to be about five weeks old with a very bad eye infection and probably because of that it doesn't bite even though it hissed at me.
Should I put it back for the mom to find?
