We have a puppy and we were expecting to take him back to the breeder tomorrow (Tuesday). Plans were changed, and now we have to drive him up today instead (monday). The problem is, our older dog (6 yo) absolutely hates the puppy. He growls and bites. Obviously, this is no place for a pup. It came as a surprise to us. However, we absolutely love him and we don't want to give him up. Hes an amazing dog. It's going to be very difficult for me, especially since its last minute. Everything in me begs me not to do this, but i know i have to. Im heartbroken. Any advice or words of comfort?
