Hi I just got a new kitten to be a playmate for my 6 month old kitten. I took steps in making sure they were introduced properly (separating them and introducing scents).
I expected my older kitty to be more aggressive one since a new cat is entering her territory but she’s been very friendly. She even sniffed his butt the first time they met. He’s been extremely avoidant of her though and will hiss every time he sees her. Is this normal? He is very confident and playful when she’s not around
