My mom and I got in a heated argument this evening when she fed her puppy some leftover hamburger grease. She is doing this natural diet for her and said it wouldn’t be any different than feeding her the meat itself.
Anyways, I did a quick internet search and the first few websites said that it was too fatty for dogs and that it puts them at risk for pancreatitis. I told my mom and she blew up on me about how she had done her research. It just seems wrong to me, but maybe not?
If it matters, the puppy is 5-6 months old and she is a Cavachon (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise mix).
