On my walks to the train station of a morning, I’ve been seeing a beautiful orange cat who demands pats and attention.
He/she has no collar and does appear to be a little ragged but not overly unhealthy.
He doesn’t seem particularly lost but he does seem to be very lonely and the demands for attention kind of make me think he’s lost or stray - like he may know that’s a good way to get food?
The thing that makes me think he might be fine is that he’s always on the same residential street, waiting for pats and scratches so he could be from one of the nearby homes and they’re just not overly cautious.
I’m not sure what to do. Should I try capturing my new bestie and taking him to the vet or should I assume he’s a claimed friend?
