I just moved into my friends house and they have a cat and he stalks me and hisses at me when no one is around. He’s fine with me when other people are around usually but I walked by while he was sitting on my bed and he hissed and grabbed me and left a scratch. I’ve never had a cat before but I know I should show that I’m afraid and I’m not but he’s an asshole and I’m not sure why he hates me or how to gain his trust. I have a pet hedgehog if that matters but he’s been around hedgehogs before and has no issue with mine and doesn’t seem to mind at all when he’s out or show any type of aggression towards him, just me. He also creeps up on me when I’m asleep because I’m currently residing in the living room until my room situation is sorted (this was an emergency arrangement) this is the first time he’s tried to hurt me usually he just hissed when I walk by.
