I wanted to ask y'all if anyone has noticed this behavior in their cats. My cat's a Siberian. Whenever one of my family members is cuddling my cat, nobody else is allowed to see it. If anyone comes into the room where she is being cuddled, she jumps away from the person that's cuddling her and looks at you with a very shocked expression, pretending to be doing something else. She is also used to different people doing different tasks for her at a certain time, for example grooming at noon. Only my mother is "allowed" to do it, whenever anyone else tries to do it she doesn't let them. The only exception is when my mother isn't around for like 2 hours of her usual "grooming" time, then she lets us groom her instead of my mom. I don't really mind this behavior, it's just kinda weird and honestly hilarious, so I wanted to know what's the cause of this?
