We have three adult dogs, one of which gave birth a few months ago. So now we have a new puppy in the house who is a half-Japanese Spitz.
My 6 year old Chihuahua HATES our puppy. Everytime the puppy approaches him, he snarls and growls at her. Our chihuahua is no longer approaching my mom and I in the morning, and he frequently misses his daily meals. When the puppy isn't around, he goes back to being sweet. But then he gets angry by the mere sight of our pup.
We love our puppy very much, but we also don't want our chihuahua to be neglected. He isn't angry with the other adult dogs, just specifically the puppy. What can I do to get him to relax a bit, be friendly, and eat again?
