hi everyone, last Saturday i adopted a 6 month old male thats had some problems (eye infection, ear mites) today i was out for longer than usual, and i came home and he had licked a large bald spot on his side. the fur around it was crusty and it was definitely new. no sores, no red spots, the skin looks normal. he had had some bald spots and i was keeping an eye on them, and they seemed to be getting better. has had flea, worm, tick, and mite treatments. no evidence of fleas so far at all, and i check every time i pet him. i’m really worried about him and am planning on bringing him to the vet as soon as i can. i tried touching his bald spot gently and he immediately moved away from me, which was very unlike him since he loves being pet.
