New Cat Owner Needing Advice for Kitten

I'm very new to owning a cat, and just last Sunday I adopted my first one. He's about 3 months old, and is generally well behaved and affectionate. He's been litter box trained, properly socialized, and isn't destructive. I haven't had many issues with him, besides some post-adoption anxiety (which I'm currently working through, and I feel like I'm improving on.)

My only issue is that he doesn't let me sleep at night. His meowing isn't really the problem, but rather him walking across me, nuzzling against my face, etc. while I'm trying to sleep. He gets super clingy at night, and as sweet as it is, it's extremely hard for me to get any rest. I've done things like play with him before bedtime/throughout the day, and also give him his last meal before sleep.

My question is, has anyone tried crate training a kitten at night? He'll most likely stop waking me up as he gets older, but for now I'm looking into putting him in a crate while I sleep. I don't know if this is a good idea yet, and if anyone has any experience with it, I'd appreciate some advice!

(Crate training is my last resort, as he hasn't gotten used to my two dogs/the rest of my house yet, so I can't just move him out of my room. Especially since he's so young.)
