Its been awhile since i had a puppy in the home and recently acquired a 6 (now 7 1/2 week) old pup. While i do know that it wasn't ideal to get pup before 8 to 12 weeks it couldn't be help. When we got pup home she was crying a lot and clingy but I saw this as normal due to being removed from mom / litter. Its a week and half later now, and she a very different puppy. In some ways things are going to good..... I was expecting chaos, I was expecting Pee and poop everywhere. Not a bloody dog that Super calm couch potato (how she get on the couch is baffling she to small to jump....) , She self trained her self to use the indoor bathroom I set up for my elderly dog who can't go outside. She Found the food bowl and water bowl it seems she don't have a huge appetite but will go crazy for cheese. About the only issue I have is the 10% of the time she Chaos mode she is very nippy (training her to chew toys not us). This Brings me to the question. Is it normal to have a Couch potato puppy at this age? She at her happiest it seem laying on the couch or bed chilling watching tv or napping.
