I have a 5 year female Labrador who has had urinary incontinence the past 3 years. My mother spaded her without my consent and to my great misfortune this created a urinary incontinence that has gotten progressively worse over the years. Everyday without fail she soils herself in her sleep multiple times a day. When she’s inside, she runs to all the doors leaving a ridiculous amount of pee that splashes everywhere. For a year I’ve had to clean my entire floor in the house twice a day minimum. I have taken her to two vet doctors and a referral to a specialist and tested her and we found the issue is likely due to when she got spaded and messed with her hormones. She takes pro-in 3 times a day and it still barely does anything. The specialist did offer a 50% success surgery for urinary incontinence that costs 10k+. I dont have that money to spend for her. The only good that has come out of pro-in is she doesn’t immediately pee as soon as she falls asleep or lies down, but instead does in under 3-10 minutes if that. For a couple months she took incurin, a hormone regulator, along with pro-in but it didn’t do anything for her.
I have wasted so much money on vetenarians and medication and am starting to break down. I have no idea what to do. Nothing has worked and it’s making me cry that I might have to resort to giving her to someone else. This is a last resort cry for help because I don’t have any other options besides get advice from someone else like reddit
