About 2 weeks ago, I almost stepped on an egg while going down a stairs on my way to work. I felt bad leaving the egg to die in the cold, so I bought an incubator. The egg just hatched (Fri 5/14 night or Sat 5/15). How do I care for the baby bird? When do I start feeding water and how? What food should I feed it and how?
My goal is to see this baby bird grow into a healthy, independent adult, and then I will set it free. How do I prevent this living being from dying prematurely?

Thank you.
