Hi all! I’m just asking for advice and will 100% do what everyone thinks is best for my kitty. I will try my best to explain his behaviors and all. Thanks!
My boyfriend and I have 3 kitties together. Technically, two are his and one is mine. Its a weird situation. They all live at his house (we don’t live together, but im there all the time so that’s why we decided on this). My boyfriends 2 cats are a little over a year and my cat is around 8months old. We rescued him as a teeny tiny kitten (3/4 weeks old) so these cats are all he knows honestly. He seems to not mind the other cats. If he is laying down, and another cat comes near him, he will get up and leave. But sometimes I will catch them cuddling (rare). He will cry for them to play with him tho. So, he likes to play with them but not really anything else. So this is why i’m not too sure what to do.
I will be moving out soon and I do want to take my cat with me, but I don’t know if this will be good for him. He does seem to be independent most of the times but its times where I catch them snuggling next to each other that make me think he won’t do well on his own. I also know it can be stressful moving to a new place on its own let alone moving from a place with 2 other cats to no other cats. I was thinking if I do end up taking him with me, I will see how he does and if after a month he is very lonely I will get another cat for him to have a friend.
