The apartment complex I live at is overrun with stray cats. There are two that were living on our patio so I started to feed and care for them. However, they have fleas and I'm worried about it going unchecked, especially since it would be easy to accidentally bring fleas or flea eggs into our apartment.
I'm looking into medication to kill the fleas and then some sort of ongoing preventative option to use on the 2 cats on our patio. However, since they are outdoor-only cats who wander around the complex and occasionally may interact with other cats, is anything going to be really effective? I'm assuming both the grounds and the other cats are probably also infested.
