My cat is still very young, and since it's about to be cat mating season, my cat has been going outside for extended periods of time. Yesterday after being gone for a little over a Day, he came in very thin and ate a lot and slept. Now he went outside again, and I'm worried that he might get lost, attacked by another cat, or taken by someone who thinks he's feral. I don't worry about him being run over by a car, since he apparently knows what they are and always runs off as soon as he hears a car.
Will he be fine? Is this normal?
