HI so basically I have 1.5 year old cat, and he is normally pretty energetic and always wants to play, however recently we went on vacation and left him with my moms friend and she is very trustworthy as she has 3 cats herself. apparently my cat was very antisocial at first then warmed up so there were no fights at all. However when we got him back he seems kind of weird and he has been sleeping a lot and cuddling a lot more, however his appetite has been insane he is eating like 2 times what he would normally eat and water intake is fine, its the same. His poop is healthy brown and he is peeing normaly as well I believe, however I am a bit worried, he usually plays around a little bit now then naps, repeat. also he has no injuries as far as I can tell, but he is eating a lot more. One reason could be is because the friend has a huge bucket from which all the cats eat so I am thinking maybe its a habit of his now to eat a lot and more quickly as well before the other cats finish the food but i am not sure. So would this warrant a trip to the vets? I know not to ask reddit as you guys arent vets but we are quarintining right now so I dont really have a choice, any help is greatly appreciated thanks :)
