Dog had a stroke and is now hospitalised

She's a 7 year old german shepard. A few weeks ago she had a hemorrhage in her eye. She already had a cataract in the other so her eye sight severely diminished.

She was scheduled to have a surgery to remove it next Thursday. However, she started to look tired, not wanting to walk and spending most of the day lying down. She also had some trouble defecating so she got an x ray. It was revealed she had a mass in her intestines and another on her mammary glad. Another x ray a few days ago revealed two other unidentified masses in her lungs.

Yesterday she had a stroke, the vets believe she has a brain tumour. She hasn't got a TAC exam yet, as that was scheduled for the surgery but we're wondering if it's even worth it.

I haven't seen her yet as I was away but I've been told she can't walk, has part of her face paralysed and can hardly recognise us.

The vet suggested she go through chemo but her condition is severe and we have no idea what'll come of it, plus we still have her eye and other tumours to take care off.

I just want to know if there's any worth in trying or the situation is just hopeless.
