Getting a paw indentation from a cat.

Hey all,

So my partner has had this little Siamese-Balinese for most of her adult life - she's about 14 years old. She's actually in really good health, doesn't have any major issues; we're hoping she lives a good, long life. That said she is getting on in her years.

The thing is, this cat has been important to my partner - like, super important. She's blind (been that way her whole life), tiny for her age (people think she's like a year old), very fluffy and loves to cuddle. It's one of those things where I'm pretty sure when she does pass, it's going to be devastating. I know it's already devastating when a pet dies, but this is like going to be a whole other level, I think.

While she's still in good health, I was thinking about the future and how I might be able to do something in advance so that once she is gone and it's appropriate, I can give my partner something to cherish of her; so I thought why not a pendant of her footprint.

Has anyone done this that might be able to offer some insight?
