Hi there!
So, guys, I have in plans an international relocation to Europe for quite some time, and now I'm almost ready to search a job. And the question of my pet relocation is becoming very important for me.
I made some research and have general understanding of paper issues and regulations in different countries.
But now I started reading airlines restrictions and it's bizarre. Almost all airlines don't approve parrots in cabin, and a lot of them don't let birds even in baggage, only in cargo.
I'm not really experience international traveler myself and this bird relocation question is frightening me.
So, I want to hear some of you stories about your parrot's relocation and to find some good advice. I really afraid that on long flight my bird can die without food or drink, or just will be so scared. But I'm a bit paranoiac, you see, so I need to hear some common sense.
Also I would be glad to read your reviews of pet relocation companies.
If it's important, my parrot is 4 year old cockatiel named Rooney, and we're going from Russia to Europe, now we have some opportunities in Iceland, and I have some concerns about it.
Hope you're and your birds are well :)
