I just saw something on Reddit where the dog grabs the guys food and leaves and the comments saying it’s the owners fault they didn’t train them. Is this the same for cats? I have a cat and every time he eat he comes and hopes to get his paws on some food, I do scold him and push him away but he keeps coming back. Is it possible for me to train him not to or is that something for dogs? Don’t want to come across as a bad owner! PS: first cat I’ve ever owned, I do tell him off and he has learned a lot of things eg not allowed on kitchen counter, not allowed in bedrooms etc
