For reference she’s a very elderly widower, this dog seemed to be quite literally her life. I believe he was previously her husband’s dog but I can’t be sure. She treated him like royalty, and he’s been sick for a while now. She’s not in great health herself either. I know sometimes elderly people lose a loved one and then die soon after. If this is the last thing I write her I don’t want it to be gloomy. I was hoping for something slightly optimistic or that focuses on a silver lining. I’m usually good at this sort of thing but I’m at a loss for words right now. Any help out ideas would be appreciated.
