So I am thinking of getting a bearded dragon, but I have never owned a reptile before. I am watching tons of videos and reading about them so I can understand at least some things. The thing is, one video I watched said it’s better to take out your bearded dragon from its tank as soon as you get it, to help bonding and stuff like that. Petsmart said I should wait a few days on their care sheet. Also, the video said that there should be no humidity in the tank, since they are desert animals. I guess that makes sense, but petsmart says that you should keep the humidity between 20-30% in the tank. Can somebody tell me which is true?
