So originally I had this, but it would make so much noise from the pump, and I HATED the dripping noises it made if it was only like 1 inch less water from the top, and it was annoying to clean.
Then I bought this, and I really like it, except it's a pain to clean. The biofilm really clings to the plastic on this one and it is SO HARD to clean.
So I'm looking into getting a fountain that's easier to clean and preferably ceramic, because biofilm is easier to clean on ceramic than plastic. Does anyone have any recommendations?
These look super cool, but they're expensive and I feel like they're too big. There are some on Amazon but I feel like I may as well bite the bullet and buy the big pretty one, especially since those look like they have tons of tiny pieces?
I was also looking on Etsy a bit and saw some. Just wondering what some people thing about these if they have them in terms of how easy it is to clean, biofilm buildup, and quality.
