My boyfriend of 2 years recently adopted 2 kittens, but I am highly allergic. I have tried everything in order to reduce my allergies, but hardly anything works.
I have done all of below: - hoover constantly - open windows - wash hands everytime after touching cats - dont let them in the bedroom - tried different allergy meds
However, this rarely works. The mornings are the worst, despite being in the bedroom where the kittens don't go. I get the full works; wheezing, sneezing, coughing, bloodshot eyes, itchy throat, etc. This lasts all day. The medication only works for a few hours, but it doesnt actually get rid of my allergies, just eases them for a little while. I need to use an inhaler most days to ease my wheezing and coughing.
I need some advice on things I might not have tried, that have worked for people who are also highly allergic. Thanks!
