My cat started sneezing recently but seems otherwise fine

Hey all.

My 13 year old gal has been sneezing a lot as of the past few days. I started volunteering at a bird rescue at the beginning of the month and I suspect she may have gotten something from one of the animals there. (They have cats and dogs too)

I feel overprotective of my cat and I wonder if I should stop going since I might end up bringing something home to her. I especially feel that way because she was recently diagnosed with kidney disease AND IBD.

I may call the vet if it’s persists, but she just had an appointment last week and she has another in September. The bills are just gonna pile up.

Am I overthinking this or should I quit volunteering for her sake?
