so i got some tea tree lye soap and i completely forgot to look up if it was toxic to cats, turns out tea tree is. i don’t know what the concentration of tea tree is in the soap, i won’t be using it on the cats only myself. i figure it’ll be fine as long as they don’t like ingest it or anything but i get anxious with stuff like this lol, so im wondering if i should just throw it out.
tl;dr: is tea tree scented lye soap safe to use around cats (not on them)?
