My cat has been staying with us for a few months now, initially, she belonged to my neighbors but she ran away cause of mistreatment. She used mud as litter at their place so once she came to my house she got to use actual litter. I get that litter is lighter than mud and it would be hard for her to get used to the texture. But every time she uses the litter she makes a huge mess, she kicks the litter a little too hard which causes everything to fall out. I've tried many ways to stop her from doing so but nothing helps, any suggestions?
