We've tried everything. There was a stray that kept coming and that started my cats peeing problem, he kept doing it out of territorial behaviour. I posted here before about it. We got rid of the stray cat by catching it and giving it to the local shelter, cleaned the entire space the cat would've been at outside and cleaned the floor where our cat peed multiple times. Keep in mind he is neutered. We even kept him away from the spot by keeping him in another room for a few days but let him out because we felt bad and he went and did it again.
I need advice, my husband is seriously considering giving my cats away because of this and I don't know what to do. I'm pregnant and my husband thinks it's putting stress on me. It's not at all medical, he just won't stop peeing at the one spot after the incident with the stray cat. I cannot prevent him from going to the front door entrance because that space is open, I can't put anything there or close a door on him to prevent him from going and peeing there. I'm not sure Feliway would help with something like this but it's expensive and I'm worried he'll keep doing it even if we buy it.
Any advice is appreciated, thank you!
