Cat slowly losing weight.

My cat is about 11 years old, give or take. I've never had any issues feeding her prior; however, in recent months I've noticed changes in her diet. I used to give her fancy feast wet food. She usually ate any one of their flavors without much issue except for the florentine collection. Recently she doesn't eat fancy feat nearly as much as she used to. She will occasionally have nibbles primavera flavors, but she doesn't have much and is always hungry afterward. She will eat the tuna and whitefish flavor of Hartz delectable treats, but never an amount too substantial. She turns her nose up to all other wet foods and treats. I've tried many. She also selectively likes Friskies treats. She will like one flavor of it and the next day she won't have any of it. She will not eat any other treat brands, and she will not eat any normal dry food unless she is extremely hungry and there are no other options. She has slowly been dropping weight and is down from around 9.5 lbs to somewhere around 7.5 lbs.

I haven't been treating her any differently in recent months. I still give her love and affection, but she doesn't seem to care much for it anymore. My family took in a puppy about 7 months ago, which somewhat corresponds with her change in behavior; however, I remember this behavior stemming from earlier than when we got the puppy. And no, I mostly ignore the dog and love on my cat because my family gives the puppy more than enough attention.

I took her to a vet about 5 months ago, and aside from noting her change in weight, there were no abnormalities. They took both blood and urine.

I don't know what the issue is stemming from, or if there is even an issue, to begin with. I might just not remember her eating habit as accurately as I thought I did, but her loving nature is subtly changing as well making me think otherwise. I spoil her with food which could also be a problem, but she is always acting hungry and it breaks my heart to ignore her and watch her saunter away unsatisfied only to return 30 minutes later asking for more.

I don't know what to do. I have a vet appointment scheduled soon here, but I fear that they won't find any physical evidence of illness. It hurts me to watch my friend slowly waste away and act differently.

Note: Sorry that this post is terribly organized, and still omits a lot of potentially important information. I would love to hear all feedback and will gladly get back to anyone who wants me to expand the information present.
