When we first got her on Tuesday (few hours after her spay) she was super active and running around but refused to eat anything (except water).
On Wednesday she finally ate some tuna and then this morning (Thursday) she ate a lot of her dry food (I was pretty pumped). She was fine all morning and afternoon, however, for the past 2 hours she’s been sleeping nonstop. She first fell asleep on my lap and then I moved her to her room. She woke up and came back to my lap (to my home office) and watched me work on my computer for a bit before falling asleep again. I’m talking ok the phone and clacking away on my keyboard and she sleeps right through it. She does wake up every now and then when my husband opens up any doors in the house or if I purposely start petting her.
My question is: is this normal? I haven’t observed her sleeping since we got her aside from today. I understand cats sleep a lot but I wasn’t aware their sleep would be so deep? Should I be concerned?
