I was hoping to get a pet for my dad, who is stuck on the sofa with nothing but his tablet most of the time. I'm looking for a pet that loves cuddles and is generally calm and peaceful, small enough to go on someone's lap, and - this is the tricky part - is not too expensive, as money for my family is tight and upkeep needs to be considered. It doesn't need to be a common pet, however; if a hedgehog fits the requirements, I'll happily look into it! If no such pet exists, then please just simply let me know.
