My dog gets bimonthly shipments of meds so sometimes I let the boxes pile up before opening. I got a shipment a few days ago and haven’t opened. Today I noticed a voicemail from someone at chewy asking me if I received wrong meds. I checked and it was for someone else so I called and they said they would replace my order and if I could ship the meds back. Sure no problem but then I realized it was odd to request them back. I asked if I could throw them away because I can’t imagine they would be reused, what if someone tampered with them. They said if it’s liquid they wouldn’t reuse but if it’s pills they would and if it’s not too much trouble if I could send them back. I told them it’s not too much trouble but I also buy a lot of meds from them and I think it’s scary that they would reuse potentially compromised meds. Just wanted to share my experience. My dogs meds are cheaper on chewy but now I hesitate.
