So i recently adopted a kitten, 4 mo. old, and was informed when bringing her home that she had an upper respiratory infection and they provided medication. So i go through the weeks process snd eventually the cold subsided. Then she began to throw up and diarrhea which i fixed with some boiled chicken snd pumpkin. NOW, lol, one day as i’m cooking , being the mischief that she is, she jumps onto the garbage to get on the counter. I have one of those garbage cans with the foot press to open it, when i go to see where she is i realized she got herself into the garbage! I pick her up and get her out to find a small cut on her lip from this adventure. The next day a small patch of red skin starts to form on her neck and her hair proceeds to fall out. I thought maybe she had cut herself again before realizing a day later there was another patch forming on her neck. So after some research i put together she possibly has ringworm. I take her to the vet so they can pull some hairs and test her but i won’t be getting the results for a couple of days. I’m really worried and i hate to see her go through all of this while trying to adjust to our home. Can anyone rest my nerves ? Also i don’t know how to add photos if u can help i have some!
