What's the point to using single cat litter as opposed to multi-cat litter?

I'm currently using World's Best Cat Litter, and I'm trying to figure out what advantages their regular single cat litter (green bag) has over their multi-cat litter (red bag)...

Everywhere I read about it says that multi-cat litter has better odor control, etc.

What advantages does regular single cat litter have?
