My mother decided to adopt a chow chow from a nearby mall where I used to live in August 2019. That was the day I met the cutest creature I have ever seen, a dog that my family would name Jenny. For the past 2 years, my dog Jenny has taken the role of a little sister for me and my sister, and a fourth child for my mother (My mother’s first child was stillborn before she had my older sister and then me). She also sees my mother as her mother and would follow her around like children would with their moms.
Jenny is very smart, being able to open doors and understand what people are saying. Although, like a little child, she is spoilt and demands what she wants with tantrums and loud barks. Sometimes I forget that she is even a dog. The interactions Jenny has with me and other humans is similar to that of a child with an older person. As strange as it may be, she understands human language and conversely, humans that she’s met can understand what she tries to convey through facial expressions and noises.
I want to know if any other pet owners own animals that act human and could communicate with you through some form of way. Domesticated pets really are fantastic animals and I would love to know other people’s experiences with their pets.
