Very worried about my babies. I went on vacation this afternoon around 3pm and my cats usually eat around 7pm (and 7am in the mornings) I fed them at 7am and again around 2pm before I left this afternoon.
My mother called around 7pm to inform me she thought she had the spare key to my house but actually does not and is at my door but unable to get in.
My destination is over 10 hours away and I am here until Sunday morning.
Will my cats be okay as far as food wise???
They have two running water fountains and all 3 litter boxes are clean. There is some dry food but it is up on my fridge.
I was betting on my mother being able to get in.
I'm just worried since I'm literally stuck here till Sunday morning.
I just want to know if they will be okay until I get back. I didn’t leave any dry food out because Luna tends to overeat if it’s available. Which is why I didn't worry because my mother was dropping by.
Anyways, for reference they are 2.5 years of age both females (sisters). And they are struck indoor house cats. Just so worried because this has never happened before and if there was a way to leave I would.
Any advice is appreciated, thank you!
